Enhancing Trach/Vent Communication with Above Cuff Vocalization

Above Cuff Vocalization (ACV) enables patients with tracheostomy and mechanical ventilation to produce audible voice with an inflated cuff, reducing anxiety and enhancing quality of life. This course reviews evidence on ACV's benefits for communication and swallowing, and outlines steps for successful implementation. This course is presented in partnership with Atos Medical.
